Use this page to create the reusable credential for MicroStrain SensorCloud source and target integrations. Each credential connects one SensorCloud device.

Setup

Prerequisites

Before creating the MicroStrain SensorCloud credential, make sure you have:

  • The SensorCloud Device ID for the device you want to use with IMSURGE
  • The SensorCloud Device Authentication Key for that device

The SensorCloud Device ID is required for authentication and cannot be discovered from the SensorCloud Device Authentication Key alone.

Credential Setup

When creating the MicroStrain SensorCloud credential, enter:

  • SensorCloud Device ID - The SensorCloud device ID used by IMSURGE.
  • SensorCloud Device Authentication Key - The SensorCloud device auth key used to authenticate IMSURGE.

IMSURGE handles SensorCloud authentication and token refresh automatically.
