Integration Setup

No separate credential setup is required for this integration.

When adding the integration, you will be prompted to enter the following information directly:

  • Temperature Units: Select Fahrenheit or Celsius.
  • Device IP Address: The IP address and port number of your Auto Meteo device, for example 12.34.56.78:8080.

This integration uses Data Pull.

This integration captures live readings only. IMSURGE behaves like a datalogger: each execution reads the most recent value currently available from the device. Choose a polling rate that matches how often the device updates, because polling faster than the device updates may collect repeated values.

This integration supports Manual Execution, but only in Default mode. Manual execution reads the most recent live value available from the device; it cannot backtrack or request historical readings.

Limitations

  • Live readings only: This integration pulls the most recent live reading only. IMSURGE behaves as a datalogger by storing each reading when it is collected. It cannot retrieve historical readings.
  • Polling Rate Configuration: The recommended polling rates are based on default device configurations. If you have customized your device’s settings, ensure your pipeline’s polling rate aligns with your device’s data update frequency.
