Setup

Prerequisites

Before setting up this integration, make sure you have a Sonitus API token generated from the Sonitus portal.

Credential Setup

Use Sonitus Credentials to create or select the credential for this integration. If it already exists in your workspace, select it instead of creating a new one.

Integration Setup

After selecting the Sonitus credential, configure the integration by entering:

  • Monitor ID - The Sonitus monitor whose measurements you want to pull.
  • Project ID - The Sonitus project that contains the monitor.
  • Timezone - Optional. The timezone of the unit, provided by the user.

If Timezone is not supplied, IMSURGE attempts to automatically derive the timezone from the device latitude and longitude the first time the pipeline executes. Later changes to the device location are not used to recalculate the timezone.

Field Description Required
Monitor ID The Sonitus monitor whose measurements you want to pull. ✓

Limitations

  • Local Time Readings - Current Sonitus products report readings in the device’s local time, and the API does not include the device timezone. IMSURGE can auto-detect the timezone from the device location, which should be accurate in most cases. If the device is near a timezone border, the derived timezone may be inaccurate. Set the timezone manually in those cases.
