Setup

Prerequisites

Before setting up this integration, make sure you have a NOAA API token.

Credential Setup

Use NOAA Credentials to create or select the credential for this integration. If it already exists in your workspace, select it instead of creating a new one.

Integration Setup

After selecting the NOAA credential, configure the integration by selecting the following options:

  • Dataset: Choose Daily Summaries, Global Summary of the Month, Weather Radar (Level II), or Weather Radar (Level III).
  • Reference State: The state where the station is located.
  • Reference City: The city where the station is located.
  • Nearby Station: The specific station you want to query.

To ensure data accuracy, all NOAA datasets are limited to a 24-hour polling interval. This aligns with NOAA’s data update frequency.

Dataset The type of weather observation data to be collected. ✓

Limitations

  • Data Availability Delay: Station data takes 24 hours to become available in NOAA’s system, but can occasionally take longer. The 24-hour polling rate is enforced to prevent executions from failing due to unavailable data and to ensure you retrieve the most complete datasets.
