Setup

Prerequisites

Before setting up this integration, make sure you have your Outpost Central account username and password available.

Credential Setup

Use Outpost Central Credentials to create or select the credential for this integration. If it already exists in your workspace, select it instead of creating a new one.

Integration Setup

After selecting the Outpost Central credential, configure the integration by selecting a device:

  • Logger (Device ID): The specific device you want to query.

Polling rates can be adjusted based on your data freshness needs.

Limitations

  • API Rate Limits: Outpost Central has an API limit of 60 requests per minute per Outpost Central user. While a single pipeline polling every minute will not exceed this, running multiple pipelines with high-frequency polling rates may cause you to hit this limit. If you keep hitting rate limits, it is possible you may need to manage separate sets of credentials, or contact Outpost Central support to have your rate limits increased.
