Earthsense (Zephyr)
Import air quality measurements from an EarthSense Zephyr device.
The Earthsense (Zephyr) source imports time-series measurements from one selected Zephyr through EarthSense’s modern Zephyr API.
Setup
Prerequisites
Before setting up this integration, make sure you have:
- Your EarthSense account username and password
- Access to the Zephyr you want to import
Credential Setup
Use Earthsense (Zephyr) Credentials to create or select the credential for this integration. IMSURGE uses the credential to list available devices during setup and to read data during pipeline runs.
Integration Setup
After selecting the Earthsense (Zephyr) credential, select one Zephyr from the devices available in your EarthSense account.
- znumber - The EarthSense API identifier for the selected Zephyr.
Select the device by its displayed serial number (serialNumber). If a serial number is unavailable, the option is labelled Zephyr <znumber>. The selected value is always the device’s znumber.

Limitations
- Metric availability - Available measurements depend on the Zephyr configuration. They may include gases, particulate measurements, temperature, humidity, ambient conditions, and optional MET fields. Not every device exposes every measurement.
- Location - Latitude and longitude measurement series are not exposed as metrics or used to infer a device location. Device-level coordinates are optional, not required or assumed; EarthSense does not document them in device metadata.
- Alpha Integration - Earthsense (Zephyr) is an alpha integration. Results may vary while the integration is being validated.
