Setup

Prerequisites

Before setting up this integration, make sure you have access to the Worldsensing gateway you want to query. After you connect with your Worldsensing credential, IMSURGE will let you choose a network and node from that gateway.

Credential Setup

Use Worldsensing Credentials to create or select the credential for this integration. Reuse it only when another integration connects to the same Gateway ID and account.

Integration Setup

After selecting the Worldsensing credential, IMSURGE queries the Worldsensing API so you can configure the integration using:

  • Network ID – The network associated with your gateway that contains the nodes you want to ingest.
  • Node – The specific device within the selected network.

This integration uses Data Pull.

This integration captures live readings only. IMSURGE behaves like a datalogger: each execution reads the most recent value currently available from the source. Choose a polling rate that matches how often the node reports new readings, because polling faster than the node updates may collect repeated values.

This integration supports Manual Execution, but only in Default mode. Manual execution reads the most recent live value available from the source; it cannot backtrack or request historical readings.

Limitations

  • Live readings only – This integration retrieves only the most recent live reading. IMSURGE behaves as a datalogger by storing each reading when it is collected. Historic CSV retrieval is not currently supported.
  • Polling Rate Considerations – Ensure your pipeline polling interval aligns with the data transmission frequency of your node to avoid repeated identical readings.
