Use this page to create the reusable credential for the Geokon source integration. IMSURGE uses this credential to list available Geokon logger serial IDs during setup and to read data from selected loggers during pipeline runs.

Setup

Prerequisites

Before creating the Geokon credential, make sure you have:

  • Access to the Geokon account that contains the loggers you want to import
  • A Geokon API Token

Geokon API tokens are created and managed in Geokon. If your Geokon portal or account workflow does not show API token management, ask your Geokon account administrator or Geokon support for an API token.

Do not enter your Geokon secretKey in IMSURGE. Geokon uses secretKey for administrative account and token management operations. IMSURGE only needs an API token for data access.

Credential Setup

When creating the Geokon credential, enter:

  • Geokon API Token - The API token used to authenticate IMSURGE.

Save the credential and use it when configuring a Geokon source integration. After you select the credential, IMSURGE uses it to load available Geokon logger serial IDs for setup.
