Usage and Billing
Understanding how IMSURGE tracks pipeline usage and how billing is calculated.
This guide provides an overview of how IMSURGE measures usage and how organization administrators can manage their subscription and billing details.
How Usage is Measured
IMSURGE’s billing model is based on your organization’s pipeline activity. The primary metric for usage is the number of successful pipeline executions.
- Pipeline Execution: Each time a pipeline runs successfully and processes data, it counts as one execution.
- Aborted Runs: Pipeline runs that are aborted (e.g., because no new data was available) do not count toward your usage.
- Failed Runs: Failed executions are not billed.
This usage-based model ensures that you only pay for the value you receive when data is successfully moved from a source to a target.
Viewing Your Organization’s Usage
Org Admins can monitor their team’s activity from the Usage tab in the main sidebar.
The usage dashboard provides a detailed breakdown of:
- The total number of pipeline executions over the current billing period.
- Usage trends over time, allowing you to forecast costs and activity.
- A list of the most active pipelines in your organization.
Managing Your Subscription and Billing
Billing and payment information is managed through our secure payment processor, Stripe. From the Billing section (located within the Usage page), Org Admins can:
- View your current subscription plan.
- Update your payment method.
- View and download past invoices.
As we continue to enhance our billing system, more detailed features will become available here.
